Being a tourist in New York
One of the nice things about visitors is having a reason to do the tourist things I've wanted to do. We were lucky with the weather during most of Serena's visit, so did the TimeOut Brooklyn Bridge walk (thanks for the suggestion, Alan), went to the top of the Rockefeller Center (thanks Eileen), walked down fifth Avenue, Times Square, walked around Greenwich Village, and had a picnic in the park with Hoy and Silvia. The weather during Annette's visit with her family was a little more variable, but they managed to see quite a lot of the city (I'll put some of Christopher's pictures up soon). I joined for a look around the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which was really nice. I don't yet have a 'Jaffe Tour of New York', but I'm working on it!

when my parents were coming to London for the wedding, I totally panicked and had no idea where to take them! Then I remembered... the famous jaffe walk. :-) We didnt do the whole thing, but had an enjoyable tour. thanks dude!
